About

Hi, I'm Linda!

This is your "all in one" place for tips, tricks, and motivation to engage your students and to save you tons of time.

Become "that teacher"... I'll show you how!

Hi, I'm Linda, and I'm here to help middle school language arts and social studies teachers become the teachers that they want to be. Teaching has become so complicated, but with my 30-plus years of experience, I can help simplify your planning, streamline your teaching, and enjoy more free time.

You’re in the right place if…

you are in love with teaching but are finding that it is eating up waaayyyy too much of your free time.  Whether you need ideas, inspiration, lessons, full units, fun activities, or the occasional freebie, then come on in!

I’ve been there, friend.

My decision to retire was a total struggle.  I still loved my job, my colleagues, my administration, the kids, and the community… but the profession began to swallow me whole.  I found myself spending so much of my time away from school, well, not really away from school.  A lot of it was my choice, because I was, quite frankly, addicted to the job.  After some real soul-searching, I decided it was time.
But I wasn’t ready to leave education entirely, and that’s when I started my TPT store. I was instantly hooked!  After so many years in the classroom and mentoring countless other teachers, I knew I had a lot to offer.  I believe my products can help other teachers save time and energy and more easily become the teachers they want to be.  I am passionate about making full units, lessons, and activities that will get real results without the overwhelm.

I have been a teacher for my entire adult life.

I started out as a kindergarten teacher, moved to first grade, and eventually moved up to the middle school.  I love love love middle schoolers (for real)!  They are still pretty innocent, but you get to see their personalities develop before your eyes.  Watching them “become who they are” is a blessing and a privilege.
I have experience in every aspect of teaching.  I have seen our profession and the way we do things change so drastically.  When the world of teaching turned upside down in 2020, I didn’t have young kids at home, and my parents were no longer with me.  I had the time to revamp everything in order to teach virtually, and I often wondered how on earth a teacher could do this if they had young kids or other major responsibilities at home.
Now that I have a TPT store, I still spend time revamping to stay current.  I hope what I have created will help you to simplify your planning,  streamline your teaching, and enjoy more free time!
When I’m not immersed in the world of education, you can find me reading (can’t get enough of it!), strolling the beach or streets in my quaint Jersey shore town, drinking coffee, spending time with friends and family, cooking, or watching the
Gilmore Girls (still obsessed after all these years!).
